Explore our 60 acres rolling ranch land in the heart of the famous Cariboo country. We have shaded grassy tent sites and extra long pull throughs. This is a great base camp to experience nearby golf, horseback rides, fishing, or to simply relax by our pool. Forty minutes to the Williams Lake Stampede; three hours to historic Barkerville.
Description of Kakwa Provincial Park & Protected Area:
Kakwa Provincial Park showcases iceclad mountains, extensive alpine meadows and a section of the Continental Divide. Main physical features include Mount Sir Alexander (3270 m), Mount Ida (3189 m) and Kakwa Lake. Summer activities include camping, hiking, fishing, and horseback trips. Winter activities include snowmobiling and wilderness ski tours. The wide range of species diversity gives excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing. Visitors interested in photography will appreciate the incredible beauty of the remote area. Winter visitors should note limited access routes apply. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Description of Kamloops RV Park & Dolphin Waterslides:
Kamloops Waterslide and RV Park has 85 serviced sites and 20 tenting sites. The RV park features full hook ups, hot showers, laundromat, facilities for the handicapped, pull throughs, pay phone, sani dump and snack store. RV Park guests receive a Dolphin's Waterslide discount. Good Sam, CAA and Woodall's discount available. Sixteen km (10 mi) east of Kamloops on Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway). Horseshoe pit at waterslide, mini-golf, next to British Columbia Wildlife Park. Pets OK.

Watch for signs of bear activity and make plenty of noise. To help maintain the natural state of this area, pack out all garbage. Davis Creek and Lost Ledge are two small sites situated on the north-western shore of Kootenay Lake. The parks are part of a combined system of seven provincial parks that offer lakeside recreational opportunities on a large inland lake. With outstanding views of the Purcell Mountains to the east, these sheltered locations provide access to the lake’s marine activities including fishing, boating and swimming. Both Lost Ledge and Davis Creek offer lake view and shady, secluded campsites spaced within the forest. Lost Ledge is very picturesque while Davis Creek is less developed. Both sites are popular with anglers and families for their unique, informal camping experience. Visitors can enjoy angling for kokanee, bull and rainbow trout.

Camping at rustic campsites near the parking area is allowed at this park, which is also a nice place to spend an afternoon picnicking near the scenic surroundings of the Koksilah River and Canyon. Walk-in, front country tent pads are provided near the parking area. Koksilah River Park is open year round. There is no fee for winter camping.

Kleanza means gold in the Gitxsan language and it was this metal that influenced the early history of the park site. Placer mining for gold was first carried out in the creek in the late 1890’s. The lakes and waterways of the area can provide good fishing. Dolly Varden, steelhead, and rainbow trout are the principal species.

Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but no facilities are provided. Winter camping is available at campsites on Kitlope Lake. One public cabin is available year round on a first-come, first-served basis on the Kitlope River.

The Iskut River runs through the park to the south, where it enters a smaller lake called Natadesleen. The Little Iskut River branches off to the west into Mt. Edziza Provincial Park and Recreation Area. The floating wharf and excellent boat ramp make it easy to launch your boat. Rainbow trout are abundant in Kinaskan and Natadesleen Lakes, averaging .5 kg in weight and 30 cm in length. Fish from shore or boat, fly fish, cast, or troll with just about any lure, the hard-fighting rainbow are waiting.

Located in the heart of cattle country, the rolling grasslands and dry open forest surround the sparkling turquoise waters of Kentucky Lake and Alleyne Lake. The scenery is spectacular from early April to late October with springs’ palette of soft pastels slowly changing to the vibrant golds of autumn. This area is very popular for fishing and even features a 'children only' fishery to foster interest in the sport among youth. The ponds between Kentucky Lake and Alleyne Lake are open only to those under the age of 16. The lakes and ponds are stocked with rainbow trout from the Summerland Trout Hatchery. Depending on temperatures, there are ice fishing opportunities in the park.
